Using a hybrid of patterns from butterfly wings, zebra stripes, and tropical fish, Hanging Illusion responds to its environment by displaying its hidden pattern of illusion when a presence is detected. The multiplied geometric lines aesthetically contrast to the organic skin on the exterior playing on the notion of surprise similar to a plant or animal defense system. The colors morph and glow until it slowly fades out when the presence is no longer detected.
