Constructed using translucent porcelain, this work references ambiguous biological life sculpted with a weblike skin and carefully decorated with intricate patterns similar to those found on sea creatures. Bridging traditional pottery and contemporary sculpture, the vessels sit atop glowing platforms that display a hidden pattern under the surface of the porcelain.  Using bioluminescent jellyfish as inspiration for the glowing form, this work uses indistinct illusion as a form of communication in combination with the functional vessel.
